Tim Kluender



Tim joined Community Bank Owatonna in 2017 as the third President/CEO in the bank’s history. He began his full-time banking career in 1993 and has worked in an executive management capacity since 2002. Tim has devoted his entire career to the community banking industry, beginning as an officer trainee in his hometown bank in Osceola, Iowa.

Tim is a native Iowan and a 1993 graduate of Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, where he majored in economics/finance and earned a minor in mathematics. In 2006 he graduated with distinction from the prestigious Graduate School of Banking program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

His wife Sherry is his high-school sweetheart, and the couple lives in Owatonna. In his free time, Tim enjoys watching his favorite sports teams, the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Royals. He and Sherry also are avid travelers.
